Also included are interesting biographies of Gilbert and Sullivan, as well as a synopsis of each of the operettas. Gilbert And Sullivan began their musical partnership in the latter part of the 1800's, and their operettas became popular in the 1870's. Many of these songs will be familiar to you, and you'll enjoy the illustrations as well as the music included in this book.
